About Us
Garnish Every Cocktail is a 501c3 created to provide cash grants to Hospitality Workers looking to improve their careers…inside or outside of the hospitality industry. This non-profit was started to remember our friend Josue Romero, aka The Garnish Guy, and continue to carry on the impact he made on the Hospitality Industry.
Each quarter Garnish Every Cocktail will announce a grant that anyone in the hospitality industry can apply for. Each grant will require the applicant to fill out a 1-2 page application providing information on how they would use the grant money if funded.
Who is it for?
Anyone in the hospitality industry can apply. Bartenders, servers, bar backs, hosts, kitchen staff, event staff, hotel staff, and those working in theme parks, travel, and tourism, etc., can apply for a grant to improve their career, their business or improve the industry.
Our goal is to support anyone who needs help taking the next step in their career, with an emphasis on: Diversity, Education and Sustainability. For example:
Dishwasher looking to become a chef.
Bartender looking to become a sommelier.
Chef looking to open their own restaurant.
Valet looking to take realtor classes.
Small business owner looking to implement sustainable practices.
Start up organization looking to help hospitality workers.
Anyone looking to take classes to improve their career.
Diversity, Education and Sustainability
For those of you that didn’t know Josue, he was larger than life and loved helping people. He was a big supporter of Diversity (Josue belonged to and supported LGBTQ community), Education (Josue loved educating people about the history, process and techniques of bartending) and Sustainability (Josue preached reusing and recycling) so Garnish Every Cocktail Grants will look to support these areas first.
GRANT Dates
Our first $2500 Grant will open Jan 1, 2023. All applications must be in by Jan 28, 2023. Our goal will be to award the grant by Feb 15, 2023. Future grants will be announced in 2023.
